About Me

As well as being an authorised EFT Practitioner, I am also a qualified Counsellor with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and AAMET (Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques).

I work as a Holistic Counsellor and use a number of different, but complementary skills as part of my practice. Some of my clients use EFT on its own to address their problems. Others use a combination of EFT and Reiki, and several have treatment plans that include CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). When children and young people need counselling I find they are often best treated by using 'therapeutic play'.

Starting Treatment

At our initial session the aim is to assess your needs and start to develop your personal plan for change using EFT, or EFT together with other techniques. Our relationship will be confidential and based upon mutual respect and trust. I will neither judge nor criticise, but will walk beside you as you explore your current situation.

Qualification and Training

I hold the following Professional Qualifications:

Certificate in Counselling (Theory & Skills)
  Diploma in Integrative Counselling
Advanced Certificate in Counselling Children and Young People

I am trained and qualified:

  Emotional Freedom Technique (Level 3)
  Reiki Master
  Reflexologist
  Holistic Masseuse

Put simply, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is the most exciting breakthrough in therapy and personal development in a long time. My work uses this gentle and highly effective technique to transform your life, bring you happiness and provide relief from emotional pain.

What is EFT and why is everyone talking about it?

According to EFT founder and Stanford Engineer Gary Craig, "Most physical pain, including arthritis joint pain has its basis in emotional pain and EFT often works when nothing else will. Simply stated, EFT is a unique version of acupuncture - except you don't use needles. Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping them with your fingertips."
